The Online Edition Of Britannica is Free for a Week



The big news is that the Online Edition of Encyclopedia Britannica is free for a week. After 244 years, Britannica shuts down its Presses and will continue to expand its digital forms, already popular with millions of readers worldwide. 

Recently the news came that they are Going out of Print. Those authoritative, gold lettered reference books once sold door to door and displayed as proud fixtures in the Bookshelf's will be discontinued - company executive said. 


The last print of Encyclopedia Britannica was the 32-Volume 2010 edition. If the budget permits you could go for these printed edition of Encyclopedia but once their stock finish, Encyclopedia will only be available in the digital format. 


The editors also announced that the online edition of Encyclopedia will totally free for a full Week starting 14 March. Here is a detailed entry about Britannica Encyclopedia.  


In Encyclopedia you can read the first few paragraphs of any article but the full content is only available for the subscribers. But you have a good time for exploring the whole content of Britannica Encyclopedia for the full week.
